Dreams of our Wisest

Imagine life sitting at the feet of Aristotle because he hadn’t yet died of old age. Or the Virgin Mary. Or a great writer like Emily Dickenson or a thinker like William James. What would our country be like if George Washington were still with us?

These people gave great gifts before they died of disease or old age. And they weren’t done giving when age, disability and chronic pain slowed them into a less active role. Imagine a world full of wise people, untainted by fads or the urge to behave selfishly.
